The International Conference on Patristics Studies meets under the auspices of the Faculty of Theology and Religion, and the Faculty of Classics, of the University of Oxford
for having been to Oxford!
Thanks to all that have made their
way and contributed to this exciting
conference.
We hope that you had a safe journey
back. Relax, enjoy your time, and, if
you wish to publish your papers, please
check out the submission process.
Future cycles of the conference will
return to the normal four-year intervals
(2027, 2031, etc). Please consult this
website and twitter feed
(@OxfordPatristic) for further
updates and news.
Short communications
Once the Conference has come to a close,
you may revise your contribution. Your paper
has to comply to the style guide of Studia
Patristica to be found here, as otherwise
there is no guarantee for it to proceed any
further.
Once finalized, you can submit your paper
for publication in Studia Patristica
using this link here. Deadline is 31.12.24
The paper will go through a peer-review
process with outcomes to be reported
at the latest 6 months after submission.
If successful, the paper will be published
in 2026. with Peeters Publishers, Leuven
Workshops and workshop papers
The conference offers conveners of workshops to be co-editors of the papers
presented at their workshops (and potential added papers to complement
the respective topics). Papers have to comply to the style guide of Studia Patristica that can be found here, as otherwise there is no guarantee for them to proceed any further. All papers should be submitted centrally via
this link here. Deadline is 31.12.24
If conveners are interested in co-editing their workshop papers, please
let us know asap. The papers submitted will be passed to the conveners for organizing their own peer review and pre-editing the papers. Depending
on the overall length of the workshop's output, the workshop papers will
appear in a separate Studia Patristica volume or be integrated into a volume
together with related workshops.
All volumes will be published in 2026 with Peeters Publishers, Leuven
